Total Commander Set File Colour
I use Total Commander when I work in Windows.

I have project-folders with loads of files in them, but rarely work on more than a couple of files at a time. To find those files more easily, You can configure Total Commander to show the most recently edited files in a different colour. Below are the steps I followed to show files edited less than 12 hours ago in green.
  • Click Configuration - Options
  • Click Display - Color
  • Click Define colors by file type...
  • Click Add...
  • Click Define
  • Choose Tab Advanced
  • Check 'Not older than'
  • Type 12 en choose hours
  • Click Save
  • Give a Template name
  • Click OK
  • Choose a colour (e.g. click on green)
  • Click OK
  • Click OK
Done
